The Mist

 A very well made thriller that kept me invigorated untill the shocking ending. The Mist is about a man and his son who go to the local shopping mart to pick up some groceries. Suddenly a man comes running into the mart screaming about “Monsters in the Mist”. A few seconds later a mist falls over the town. A few people think the man is crazy and decide to go outside, only one returns, covered in blood. This is the best Horror movie I have ever seen Watch it? If you can stomach some gore and swearing. I give this a 85/100. Not suggested for kids under 14.

Tommy Boy

Tb is in my top 5 favorite comedy. Tb is about a lovable clutz who inherits a car company. The company is going under due to debt, so Tommy has to go on a cross-country trip with his enemy richard to sell their products. The movie doesnt have a scene where you dont laugh, and Chris Farley and David Spade deserved Oscars for these roles. Watch it? if you dont watch tommy boy, why watch any old movies? I give this 80/100.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Forget WAW, on second thought, forget every FPS you own and go get MW2. The best thing about MW2 is the new Special Opps mode. In SO mode you get to due all these awesome missions, such as driving down a mountain on a snowmobile with a full auto pistol, or getting a huge arsenal and just going around beating on a some terrorists. The second best thing about MW2 is the HUGE selection of awesome guns. I have personally tried quite a lot of them and they are all individually fun to shoot, from the full auto shotgun, The striker, to the Infrared sniper rifle, to the P90 machine gun. Play it? YES! I can personally say I expected a lot of this game and it didnt fall short on anything! I give this a 110/100. Not suggested for kids under then 14, in MW2 there is no gore, but still a lot of blood and no reduced version.

Robin Hood: men in tights

Forget Young Frankenstein and spaceballs, RHMT is the Funniest Mel brooks film. This, like all Mel Brooks movies, makes fun of mostly everything of that time period, but a lot of the jokes revolve around Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. If you Want to Watch this movie, you have to watch Prince of Thieves first to get 60 percent of the jokes. This movie is about Robin hood Braking out of jail with a Morgan Freeman look-alike, he then goes to his castle to find its been repoed, he then finds his old blind friend blinkon, and they got to get his castle back by defeating the sheriff of Rottingham. Watch it? Yes, Watch Prince of Thevies first, but this is a must see comedy. I give this a 75/100. Not suggested for kids under 14 due to coarse jesting.

Transformers 2: Revenge of the fallen

I cannot express how much this movie has improved since the first 1. T2 is about Sam finding a shard of the Allspark, it projects a map of how to get a even more powerful power source hidden in Egypt. So the rest of the movie the deceptions try and get sam and his brain while the autobots defend him. Unlike the 1st T this movie doesn’t wait untill the final 10 minutes to have awesome action, The final 45 minutes of T2 is pure adrenaline fueled action. Watch it? As if this movie didn’t have enough to make you want to watch it, They have Megan Fox, that seals the deal, watch it. I give this a 85/100. Not suggested for kids under 13.

The god’s must be Crazy

This movie may not be hilarious, but it’s simply bursting with charm. This movie is about a coke bottle drops from an airplane into the Kalahari dessert. The bushmen that live there think it’s a gift from the god’s, in till the whole tribe start fighting over it. The tribe leader decides it must be destroyed and set’s off to drop it off the end of the world. From there, the plot splits into 3 different stories and merges them at the end. Watch it? yes, a good movie with a healthy amount of laughs. I give this a 60/100. Not suggested for kids under 13 due to the way the bushmen dress, in nothing but loincloths.

Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail

The first time I watched MPQHG is quit after 10 minutes due to the humor i didn’t get. Now, 2 years later, I have found that this masterpiece rivals GetSmart as my second favorite Comedy. This movie is a spoof of King Arthur’s quest for the holy grail. Despite being a little too weird at parts, this is a zany movie no 12+ boy should miss! Watch it? Yes! Very funny from The knights who say NEE to the holy hand grenade, this is a movie I was ready to buy before we were 45 minutes into it! I give this a 95/100. The main humor of this movie is fake blood that sprays everywhere, so as i said, 12+.

Shooter

BEST> MOVIE>EVER!!!!!! This movie is about a guy (Mark whalberg) who has the best shot in the world. He can hit a penny 100 yards out. The government recruits him to stop a assassination on the president. LOng story short a guy gets killed and Mark gets framed. This movie has lots of sniping and amazing stunts. Watch it? If you have any interest in action movies, lots of gun fights/amazing snipes, and a very good plot with tons of twist and turns, you will die for this movie. I give this a 105/100. Not suggested for kids under 16, sorry to say bloody, blown off heads and f-bombs fill this movie with gallons of blood and profanity.

Batman: Arkham Asylum/X360

This is not only the best Batman game ever made, it’s the Best platformer on the Xbox 360. This game has a very good plot, despite a few dumb parts. BAA is about batman bringing in the joker. But as soon as The joker is out of Batman’s hands, he breaks free and takes over AA. The boss battles are a bit dull, considering the usually fast paced game. The best parts of BAA are when you are pitted against a dozen or so heavily armed henchmen in a room full of gargoyles. You simply swing from one gargoyle to the next taking foe down by dropping on top of them and knocking them unconscious. This is a stealth game, but there is quite a bit of beat em’ up action too. The biggest surprises are when you face scarecrow, he will pop out at you, sory you in the face with fear gas, and then you must fight him in his world. Trust me this game has pleny of thrills and chills to even give someone like me nightmares. Oh, and the riddles! Throughout AA there are 240 riddles for you to solve. Some are as easy as finding a trophy, some you must find a staue/painting/object, but some are as hard as finding how a ? lines up in a huge area. Play it? Yes, a epic game no gamer should miss completing. I give this a 90/100. Not suggested for kids under 14, much more intense then a lot of M games.

Halo 3: ODST/X360

This game probably has some of the best multi-player out there, even if the campaign is a bit worse then 3. The biggest fault of ODST is the health system, In campaign you actually have health, so if you take damage you have to go around and try and find some health packets. It gets tiresome and you die a lot easier then in 3. The only other problem I have is with Firefight. It seem like they missed the mark a bit with FF ya, its fun, but would I choose it over Horde or Nazi Zombies, no. Play it? Yes, Despite a few flaws its a good game with good multiplayer and a good storyline.
