Beat it: Assassin’s creed

Assassin’s creed had a wonderful campaign with great assassinations (boss battles) although  I had some achievements glitch and some of the missions before the boss battles were tedious, this game was unlike anything else.

Story: 95/100. Some confusion, but very engaging, could be a movie.

Gameplay: 85/100. Dragged down by some boring tasks.

Boss battles: 90/100. Truly epic.

Co-op: NA.

Soundtrack/voice-acting: 90: Some great voice acting, but the music starts to git annoying.

Total gamerscore from playthrough: 835.

Diffuculty: NA.

Total time taken to complete: 18 hours.

system: xbox 360.

Worth beating? Yes, truly a great adventure everyone should beat at least once.

Beat it: Crackdown

The crackdown is good game with an ‘shadow of the coluossues” feel. Despite being on the short side, you will have fun while it lasts.

Story: 40/100. You are an agent sent to kill gangs, no real story, but a cliff hanger ending.

Gameplay: 80/100. The bosses put up a good fight and guns are great fun.

Boss battles: 85/100. Bosses tend to have simlear patterns, but finding out how to get to them is great.

Co-0p: 75/100. Co-op is fun with a friend, but nothing special.

Soundtrack/voice-acting: 60/100. Repeditive guy tell you about missions and enemys swear the same stuff.

Total gamerscore from playthrough: 400.

Diffuculty: Tough.

Total time taken to complete: 6 hours.

System: Xbox 360.

Worth beating? Yes, if you rent it you can easily get all the fun out of this within a week.

Beat it: Borderlands (First and second playthrough)

Borderlands is an engaging RPS (Role playing shooter) that when you start playing it you hope it never ends. BL has only one major flaw, and that is if you’re not playing with others, the overall experience is not nearly as fun.

Story: 70/100. Good story but not much dialogue throughout the game.

Gameplay: 95/100. Truly the pinnacle of shooters best played with others.

Boss battles: 90/100. Great bosses with some great intro’s.

Co-op: 100/100. The most fun game to play in co-op, period.

Soundtrack/voice-acting: 85/100. Solid, but enemy’s spew repetitive lines.

Total gamerscore from playthrough 1&2: 1000.

Difficulty: NA.

Total time taken to complete: 25+ hours.

System: Xbox 360.

Worth beating: unlike most shooters, borderlands is built around it spectacular campaign, definitely worth finishing.

Beat it: Wanted: Weapons of Fate

Wanted is a short but sweet game that is often overlooked by the gaming community. People complain that it cots too much, but i got it for 8 dollars so that doesnt bother me. It has its flaws but trust me when i say you can get 1000 gamer points and beat the game twice under 8 hours, now that’s awesome.

Story: 60/100

Gameplay: 80/100

Boss battles: 70/100

Co-0p: N/A

Soundtrack/Voice-acting. 75/100

Total gamerscore from play-through: 500

difficulty: Assassin (almost done with “The Killer” difficulty)

Total time it took to beat: 4 hours

System: Xbox 360

Worth beating: Yes, very enjoyable while it lasts, probably better to rent it.

Beat it: Army of two: the 40th day

Army of two was delightful to beat. Diverse levels, fun missions, and morality choices are just a few features that made this game so fun. I am currently on my way to beating this a second time ( for achievements) but it’s still a fun game the second time around. Its story was very vague and unclear but was still interesting.

Story: 55/100

Gameplay: 90/100

Boss battles 65/100

Co-op: 80/100

Soundtrack/voice-acting: 80/100

Total gamerscore from play-through: 510

Difficulty: Normal

Total time took to beat: 5 1/2 hours.

System: Xbox 360.

Worth beating: Yes, doesn’t take much time but is very fun, even if there were no achievements it would be worth redoing the game to try out new guns.

Beat it: Ninja Blade

Ninja blade quite a few hours of my life, despite its obvious flaws. NB has a ridicules story that still managed to keep my interest. NB is about a young ninja named Ken who is called in to fight a sudden infection in downtown Tokyo. For some unknown reason Ken is immune to this Virus, even though it claims his squad mates and his own father. There were a few problems with NB, the first being the Steep difficulty, the second was the terrible save system, you had to beat an entire, lengthy, level just to save.

Story: 70/100.

Gameplay: 75/100.

Boss battles: 85/100.

Co-op: N/A

Soundtrack: 60/100.

Total gamerscore from playthrough: 620

Diffuculty: Normal

Total playtime: 8 hours.

System: Xbox 360.

Worth beating: Yes, enjoyable, but be ready to fight some seemingly impossible bosses. The best thing about NB is the sense of scale, You feel so powerless against the huge bosses, yet you still bring them down.

Beat it: Left 4 Dead

L4d is personally one of my favorite Co-op shooters. L4d doesn’t rely much on its plot, it’s about 4 survivors of an infection hitting the whole world. In each of its 4 campaigns you must progress from safe room to safe room, when you get to a safe room the level is done, 5 levels in a campaign, get it? On the last level of each campaign you are told to hold out untill the rescue vehicle picks you up. The action is fast an intense and dilevers quite a bit of chills.

Story: 50/100.

Gameplay: 85/100.

Boss battles: 80/100.

Co-op: 90/100.

Soundtrack: 70/100.

Total gamerscore from playthrough: 515.

Diffuculty: Normal.

Total playtime: 5 hours.

System: Xbox 360.

Worth beating: Co-op makes this game much more enjoyable, but worth beating even in single player. Not suggested for kids under 14.

Beat it: Blacksite: Area 51

Blacksite is a cross between halo and call of duty, but isn’t nearly as good as either. The controls are poorly though out, there are a total of 5 guns, and the gameplay is laughably easy in most parts, but frustratingly hard in others. BA is about a government project to try to boost the strength of soldiers for obvious reasons. The project goes wrong and mutates its host into spider-like aliens with a grudge against the human race. The plot is wafer thin and could have used a lot of editing.

Story: 40/100.

Gameplay: 60/100.

Boss battles: 35/100.

Co-0p: unavailable.

Graphics: 55/100.

Soundtrack: 30/100.

Total gamerscore from playthrough: 230.

Diffuculty: Easy.

Total playtime: 3 hours.

System: Xbox 360.

Worth beating: Not very long, but so many better military shooters.

Beat it: Too Human

Too Human is much behind the times. All the environments look the same, the damage system is clunky, and boos fight are either laugh out loud easy or controller smashing hard. Not to say there’s no fun to be had with TH. There are some good RPG elements and customization is pretty deep. Overall this game would have been good in 2004. On a better note the story gets really juicy within the last few cut scenes.

Story: 35/100.

Gameplay: 55/100.

Boss battles: 40/100.

Co-op: unavailable.

 Graphics: 50/100.

Soundtrack: 55/100.

Total Gamerscore from play through: 595.

Diffuculty: Easy.

Total Playtime: 10 hours.

System: Xbox 360.

Worth Beating? No, Too long with Too many issues.

Beat it: Ghostbusters: The video Game

Ghostbusters was definitely with its flaws, but it had some very funny moments and great voice acting from the orignal movies. The game is best when your wrangling some ghosts into a trap, or unlocking an achievement that has some great quote as a name. But sadly some Puzzles were just too hard and section’s could get tough sometimes, even on easy.

Story: 65/100.

Gameplay: 65/100.

Boss Battles: 70/100.

Co-op: unavailable.

Graphics: 60/100.

Soundtrack: 70/100.

Total Gamerscore from play through: 505.

Difficulty: Easy.

Total Playtime: 5:20.

System: Xbox 360.

Worth Beating? A lot more enjoyable if you’re a fan of the movies.
