Australian Left 4 dead 1&2

If you havent heard, there has been an uproar about Australia’s strict gaming rules. A lot of M rated games in the US have been banned in Australia. Left 4 dead 1&2 were also banned in Aust, untill now. Valve agreed to release a non gory T rated version of L4D 1&2. The funny thing is some friends are going to Aust in a few months. THen it hit me, I could have my friends pick up a copy of L4D 1&2! I will have all the fun of the Zombie apocalypse without the disturbing gore! I am very excited and will review them as soon as I can.

The Conduit

A bland shooter with shaky controls. The conduit is about aliens invading earth and you have to kill them all. About the only thing fun about the conduit is that you get to use the Wii gun to shoot aliens. Play it? No, Play COD if you want to play a Wii shooter. I give this a 35/100.

The Mist

 A very well made thriller that kept me invigorated untill the shocking ending. The Mist is about a man and his son who go to the local shopping mart to pick up some groceries. Suddenly a man comes running into the mart screaming about “Monsters in the Mist”. A few seconds later a mist falls over the town. A few people think the man is crazy and decide to go outside, only one returns, covered in blood. This is the best Horror movie I have ever seen Watch it? If you can stomach some gore and swearing. I give this a 85/100. Not suggested for kids under 14.

Stephen King’s IT

A truly unique horror flim that was creepy as well as funny. It is about a Clown who murders people in a town called Derry. After a kids brother is killed by the clown pennywise a group of kids go to It’s lair to kill him, they belive It is dead untill, 30 years later, Murders start happining again in Derry, and they must unite to kill pennywise once and for all. Watch it? The big problem with It is that its a staggering 3 hours long, there could have been quite a few scenes editied out,  despite a stupid ending and a few qwriks thast didnt add up, but a very good plot makes It worth watching. I give this a 75/100. Not suggested for kids under 12.

Tommy Boy

Tb is in my top 5 favorite comedy. Tb is about a lovable clutz who inherits a car company. The company is going under due to debt, so Tommy has to go on a cross-country trip with his enemy richard to sell their products. The movie doesnt have a scene where you dont laugh, and Chris Farley and David Spade deserved Oscars for these roles. Watch it? if you dont watch tommy boy, why watch any old movies? I give this 80/100.

Blacksheep

BS may have the same 2 actors as Tommy boy, but it dosnt have its laughs. BS is about a man running for president, but his brother keeps messing things up. Watch it? No, Tommy boy is classic, and BS is BS. I give this a 35/100.

Cujo

My personal least favorite out of all the Stephen king’s I have seen lately, Cujo is about A regular dog who gets rabies from a bat. He goes rabid and trapes a mom and son in a car. There were some good, jumpy scenes, but most of it was quite dull. Watch it? There wasnt even any action untill the last half hour, even though the movie is only 90 minnutes long. I give this a 45/100.

Mini Ninjas/Wii

A very weak platformer for the wii. You play as hikiu, a ninja who runs around and kills red ninjas who turn into animals when defeated. IT was very dull and had no storline from what I could see. It is also very easy, in the 2 hours I played i didnt die once. Play it? Please dont, the only good thing are the Wii good graphics. I give this a 25/100.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Forget WAW, on second thought, forget every FPS you own and go get MW2. The best thing about MW2 is the new Special Opps mode. In SO mode you get to due all these awesome missions, such as driving down a mountain on a snowmobile with a full auto pistol, or getting a huge arsenal and just going around beating on a some terrorists. The second best thing about MW2 is the HUGE selection of awesome guns. I have personally tried quite a lot of them and they are all individually fun to shoot, from the full auto shotgun, The striker, to the Infrared sniper rifle, to the P90 machine gun. Play it? YES! I can personally say I expected a lot of this game and it didnt fall short on anything! I give this a 110/100. Not suggested for kids under then 14, in MW2 there is no gore, but still a lot of blood and no reduced version.

Robin Hood: men in tights

Forget Young Frankenstein and spaceballs, RHMT is the Funniest Mel brooks film. This, like all Mel Brooks movies, makes fun of mostly everything of that time period, but a lot of the jokes revolve around Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. If you Want to Watch this movie, you have to watch Prince of Thieves first to get 60 percent of the jokes. This movie is about Robin hood Braking out of jail with a Morgan Freeman look-alike, he then goes to his castle to find its been repoed, he then finds his old blind friend blinkon, and they got to get his castle back by defeating the sheriff of Rottingham. Watch it? Yes, Watch Prince of Thevies first, but this is a must see comedy. I give this a 75/100. Not suggested for kids under 14 due to coarse jesting.
