Buried

Buried is a claustrophobic thriller that was intense, but not much else. Buried is about a guy named paul (Ryan Reynolds) who wakes up in a coffin with no idea how he got there. The rest of the movie unfolds with him basically freaking out and calling people for help. Watch it? I didn’t really love this one, it seemed like not much happened (Granted the film was shot in a 6by4 coffin). I give this a 5.0/10.

Scott pilgrim vs the world

SPVTW is one of the most creative, visually stunning, quirky, and altogether awesome, movies ive ever seen. SPVTW is about a dude named Scott (Micheal Cera) who falls in love with the girl of his dreams named Ramona (Mary Winsted). But there’s a catch, Ramona has seven evil exses who Scott must defeat before him and Ramona can be together. Watch it? I actually watched this movie on my birthday.. and it was probably the highlight of the day, can’t think of many better to spend a couple of hours. I give this 8.5/10.

Lottery Ticket

LT is a good comedy that really isn’t special but has enough acting behind it to be enjoyable. LT is about a young man (Bow-Wow) who wins the lottery. His blabber mouth grandma tells the neighbor hood gossip and pretty soon the whole town knows he has a ticket in his possession. When he tries to turn it in he learns that the office is closed for labor day and he has to wait three days untill he can cash it in. Some punks decide to steal the ticket and Bow-wow has to try to get it back. Watch it? It was a good comedy with a great message, worth your time. I give this a 6.5/10.

Blade Runner

Note: Sorry I havent been on for nearly 3 months!!! school has been insane, im on a break right now so ill be trying to catch up :) .

Blade Runner is supposedly one of the best sci-fi movies ever, but i guess it’s also one of the most overrated ones two. BR is about, in the future, there are cyborg people called replicants who only live for a few years then die. They do the dirty jobs humans don’t want to do, but when one of them escapes, there are special cops called Blade Runner’s to track em down. When a group of reps escape from mars and fly to earth the police call in the best Blade Runner who ever lived (Harrison Ford). Watch it? A classic? More like an average movie with very little to keep it interesting. I give this a 6.0/10. I will no longer be posting my suggestions for what ages should watch because it differs too much by who the kid is.
