Poltergheist

A movie that is pretty dull untill the final 10 minutes. This movie is about a town built on an old scared burial ground, the ghosts get pissed and get revenge by stealing a family’s little daughter. The movie is kinda dull, some of the paranormal stuff that happens is cool, but it never really got creepy. In fact, the movie doesnt even get good untill after you think the movies done, then suddenly a kid gets attacked by the scariest clown/doll ever and dead people start popping out of the ground. Watch it? A good horror movie for kids just getting into scary movies, but not for older kids. I give this a 45/100. Not suggested for kids under 10 due to the Clown/doll  and a man ripping his face off in a dream.

Alien

 I already have seen AVP so I already knew the answers to the big mysteries to alien. And the big climax of the movie i started laughing because it was spoofed in spaceball’s. A is about a mining crew reviving a distress call from an uncharted planet. An unkown alien Attaches to a guys face and then things start gettin bad. The overall theme was creepy, but this movie showed its age, fake blood, and was much less gory then PG-13 nowadays. Watch it? if you haven’t seen any alien movie’s, see AVP. I give this a 40/100. Not suggested for kids under 13 due to language more then gore.

Disturbia

A good movie that is fairly creepy, untill the terrifying final 15 minutes. D is about a boy who beats up his teacher for making a crack about his late father. so Kale (Shia labeof) gets put on house arrest for 3 months. He gets bored of staring at screens so he starts spying on th girl next door. After a while he starts spying on all his neighbors, and starts seeing suspicious goings on at his 40 year old neighbors house. Watch it? yes, but be warned this is very intense for a PG-13, this and T2 has esablish Shia as my num 3 fave actor. I give this a 70/100.  Not suggested for kids under 14.

Beetlejuice

This comedy is offbeat, but has it’s moments. BJ is about a couple who die in a accident, they are allowed 125 years to stay in there house, they can do anything they want as long as they dont leave the house. A new family move in and the couple cant scare them off, so they recruit BJ too scare them off. This movie is funny at parts, but never hilarious, and BJ is very lewd. Watch it? It does have a lot of charm, but not as much as Gods must be crazy. I give this a 55/100. Not suggested for kids under 10.

Transformers 2: Revenge of the fallen

I cannot express how much this movie has improved since the first 1. T2 is about Sam finding a shard of the Allspark, it projects a map of how to get a even more powerful power source hidden in Egypt. So the rest of the movie the deceptions try and get sam and his brain while the autobots defend him. Unlike the 1st T this movie doesn’t wait untill the final 10 minutes to have awesome action, The final 45 minutes of T2 is pure adrenaline fueled action. Watch it? As if this movie didn’t have enough to make you want to watch it, They have Megan Fox, that seals the deal, watch it. I give this a 85/100. Not suggested for kids under 13.

Star wars the clone wars: lightsaber duels/ wii

A very shallow beat em up arena style game. This game is an epic fail. Ya, you can swing the Wii remote accurately and try and rack up combos, or you can swing the Wii remote wildly and beat any opponent in the game. STCWLD requires 0 skill, a 10 year old could beat a sponsored gamer if he can shake the Wii remote faster. Play it? No, Tekken, Virtue fighter, and mortal kombat are examples of much better brawler’s. I give this a 35/100.

Robin hood: Prince of thieves

IDK if that the name of the movie, it’s the RH with Kevin Costner. This is a pretty decent movie, even though Morgan Freeman was kinda boring, very unlike him. This movie tells the story of Robin Hood, a outlaw who steals from the rich and gives to the poor. There are some very good action scenes, despite very B acting, although the actor who played the sheriff of Nottingham was very good. Watch it? If you have to watch a movie about Robin Hood, you could do a lot worse. I give this a 55/100. Not suggested for kids under 14 for quite a bit of blood and a few suggestive scenes.

The god’s must be Crazy

This movie may not be hilarious, but it’s simply bursting with charm. This movie is about a coke bottle drops from an airplane into the Kalahari dessert. The bushmen that live there think it’s a gift from the god’s, in till the whole tribe start fighting over it. The tribe leader decides it must be destroyed and set’s off to drop it off the end of the world. From there, the plot splits into 3 different stories and merges them at the end. Watch it? yes, a good movie with a healthy amount of laughs. I give this a 60/100. Not suggested for kids under 13 due to the way the bushmen dress, in nothing but loincloths.
