I’ve done it! I have finally purchased an ethernet cable and hooked my Xbox up to live. I have already made a gamertag that can be seen on my side bar. I have waited a long time for this and have already logged quite a lot hours on MW2, and also a few on Halo 3 and L4D. I cannot wait to add to my ever-growing friends list, silvercube, im looking at you.
an excellent movie with a pro-christen message. TBOE is about a man named Eli (Denzel Washignton) who is told by god to bring the last bible on earth west. As you might guess, the The last copy of the bible is very precious and many would kill for it. The Screenplay is phenomenal and I don’t think that anyone could create a more realistic postapocalyptic world. Watch it? Please do, My favorite action movie of all time, but not for younger audiences. I give this a 95/100. Not suggested for kids under 15.
A quirky little murder movie that could have achieved greatness. The biggest thing that holds this movie back was the wierd “in-between” scenes. Although they were beautiful, they muddled the plot and ruined the dark feeling. LB is about a 14-year-old girl named Susie Salmon who is lured into a trap by her neighbor, she is then murdered. The police can’t find any evidence of value and must finally give up on the case. The Neighbor begins to feel the itch for murder again and goes after Susie’s sister. While this is going on Susie watches, and helps, from the In-between. Watch it? Creepy and Dark, but also bright and Vibrant, I just cant put a finger on this one. I give this a 65/100.
L4d is personally one of my favorite Co-op shooters. L4d doesn’t rely much on its plot, it’s about 4 survivors of an infection hitting the whole world. In each of its 4 campaigns you must progress from safe room to safe room, when you get to a safe room the level is done, 5 levels in a campaign, get it? On the last level of each campaign you are told to hold out untill the rescue vehicle picks you up. The action is fast an intense and dilevers quite a bit of chills.

Co-op: 90/100.
Soundtrack: 70/100.

Blacksite is a cross between halo and call of duty, but isn’t nearly as good as either. The controls are poorly though out, there are a total of 5 guns, and the gameplay is laughably easy in most parts, but frustratingly hard in others. BA is about a government project to try to boost the strength of soldiers for obvious reasons. The project goes wrong and mutates its host into spider-like aliens with a grudge against the human race. The plot is wafer thin and could have used a lot of editing.

A kinda boring gangster flick. PE is about an infamous gangster (Johnny Depp) who keeps slipping through polices fingers. The government hire a special cop (Christen Bale) to try to capture Depp. Although being Based on a true story it lacked the action required for a movie like this. Not a bad story but just a bit too much talking and not enough action. Watch it? Older people might enjoy the dialogue. I give this a 55/100. Not suggested for kids under 13.
Too Human is much behind the times. All the environments look the same, the damage system is clunky, and boos fight are either laugh out loud easy or controller smashing hard. Not to say there’s no fun to be had with TH. There are some good RPG elements and customization is pretty deep. Overall this game would have been good in 2004. On a better note the story gets really juicy within the last few cut scenes.

Ghostbusters was definitely with its flaws, but it had some very funny moments and great voice acting from the orignal movies. The game is best when your wrangling some ghosts into a trap, or unlocking an achievement that has some great quote as a name. But sadly some Puzzles were just too hard and section’s could get tough sometimes, even on easy.

Although a bit predictable, and a tad disappointing, Sherlock Holmes Delivers solid Action and a decent mystery. SH is about Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey JR) who is trying to convince his parter, Watson (Jude Law) to solve one more case before he gets married. The final case of Holmes and Watson is a magician trying to bring about the end of the world. Watch it? Yes, Robert Downey is a great actor, another big disappointment was the lack of humor, I only laughed 4 times or so. I give this a 70/100. Not suggested for kids under 13.
After being so impressed by Tim Burton’s Coraline, I thought I would like 9. 9 is about the world being overrun by robots. A scientist gives his life to make 9 different Dolls come alive. The Dolls are then given the mission to kill the remaining robots. It was a bit predictable and didn’t seem near as fascinating as Coraline. The animation was undeniably well done but Coraline seemed to stick out more. It still deliverd some action and had great voice acting Watch it? If your a fan of Claymation. I give this a 60/100.
